is a recurring phenomenon amongst henchmen in many movies and has been dubbed
X. No matter how notoriously dangerous an antagonistic group may be, they
cannot seem to injure/kill anyone who may be vital to the plot. We have
seen this in Kill Bill, Crouching Tiger, James Bond and many other
movies. What is this effect called?
