__________ was a originally a fortress built by the Tughluq Sultan Firuz to house his version of the city of Delhi, called Firuzabad, or Ferozabad. It's known for its pristine polished sandstone pillar, from the 3rd Century BC, which rises from the palace's crumbling remains.

This also lent its name to a different kind of structure that was established in 1883. Today it's part of the lexicon of pretty much every Delhi-ite (and Indian).

Use this dead give-away clue to fill in the blank.
